Yoshimasa Tsuchiya(b.1977) had studied sculpture at Tokyo Art Univ and got a doctor's degree of conservation and restoration of a sculpture in 2007.
This is his third one-man exhibition at MEGUMI OGITA GALLERY.
"Living things keep their ears open, sense lively signs.
I want to make visible a signs of hope we can't hear to crave their figure."
We can see the process that his sense was released to the outside world, and it's reflected in the lively deer, leopard, antelope, all of his living creasures.
Yoshimasa's style was based on traditional sculptures, but also he gives expression unique color and gets rid of quality of the material with his dynamic representation.
The exhibition is to mark his first collection of works.
We hope you enjoy "Sylvan Whispers".
